Terms of Service
The agreement that governs buying skins from the CS Skin Forge shop.
Last updated: 20 Aug 2026
1. About these terms
CS Skin Forge is an online shop operated by LOOT FORGE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17323859, with its registered office at Piccadilly Business Centre, Unit C, Aldow Enterprise Park, Blackett Street, Manchester M12 6AE, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at info@csskinforge.com or +44 7577 018239, Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:00 UTC.
These Terms of Service form a binding contract between you and LOOT FORGE LTD and apply every time you use csskinforge.com (the "Site") or buy an item from us. By creating an account, placing an order or otherwise using the Site, you confirm that you have read these terms, that you accept them, and that you have capacity to enter into a contract.
These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy and AML & KYC Policy, which are incorporated into this agreement by reference. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to register an account or place an order. We do not knowingly sell to minors, and we may close any account where we have reason to believe the user is under 18. We may ask you to verify your age or identity at any time, and we may suspend access to your account until that verification is complete.
To buy from us you need a valid Steam account that is in good standing and eligible to receive trade offers. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, your Steam credentials and your Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator secure, and for every action taken through your account. Tell us immediately at info@csskinforge.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
You must give accurate registration and billing information and keep it up to date. You may only hold one account unless we agree otherwise in writing, and you may not sell, transfer or share your account with anyone else.
We cannot sell to customers located in, or ordinarily resident in, countries or territories subject to comprehensive UK, EU, UN or US sanctions, and we may decline or cancel any order where accepting it would breach applicable sanctions or financial crime law.
3. What we sell
We sell in-game cosmetic items ("skins") for Counter-Strike 2 from our own inventory: weapon finishes, knives, gloves, agents, stickers, charms, patches, containers, collectibles and similar virtual items. Every listing is a specific individual item held in our stock, identified by its exact float value to six decimal places, paint seed, wear category, StatTrak™ or Souvenir status and applied stickers where relevant.
These items are digital content with no monetary value outside the game environment. They exist only inside the Steam platform and remain subject to the Steam Subscriber Agreement and Valve's rules at all times. We sell you a specific item from our inventory and deliver it to your Steam account by trade; we do not sell, and cannot sell, any right or licence in the underlying game content itself.
We do not offer gambling, wagering, prize draws with paid entry, or any mechanic where the outcome of a purchase is determined by chance in exchange for a stake. Where the Site features cases, auctions or giveaways, those features are governed by the additional rules published on the relevant page, and paid entry to a chance-based outcome is not offered.
Item images, float data and reference prices are taken from Steam Community Market data and are provided for information. We take care to keep listings accurate, but data feeds can lag; if a listing contains an obvious error in price or specification, we may cancel the order and refund you in full before delivery.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the Site in GBP (£) and may be displayed in EUR (€) for convenience using an indicative exchange rate. The currency in which your card is actually charged, and the amount, are shown at checkout before you confirm. Prices include all applicable taxes where these apply; your card issuer may apply its own conversion or cross-border fees, which are outside our control.
We accept Visa and Mastercard payment cards. Payments are processed by our regulated payment service provider; we never receive or store your full card number, expiry date or security code. Card payments are subject to Strong Customer Authentication (3-D Secure) where your issuer requires it.
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we accept your order and confirm it by email, and we may decline an order — for example where the item has already sold, where a listing was mispriced, where payment is declined, or where our fraud, sanctions or AML checks are not passed. If we decline after payment has been taken, we refund the full amount.
The charge on your card statement will appear under the billing descriptor shown at checkout. If you do not recognise a charge, contact us at info@csskinforge.com before contacting your bank — we can usually identify and resolve it faster.
We may ask for identity or source-of-funds documents in line with our AML & KYC Policy, particularly for larger or unusual orders. Where verification is required, delivery may be held until it is completed.
5. Delivery over Steam
Items are delivered as a Steam trade offer from our bot account to the Steam account linked to your CS Skin Forge profile. Delivery normally completes within minutes of payment being confirmed, and in any event we aim to deliver within 24 hours.
To receive delivery you must: have Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled for at least 7 days, have a valid and current trade URL saved in your profile, have your Steam inventory set to public, have no trade ban, trade hold or account restriction, and have inventory space available. Delivery failures caused by any of these conditions are not our responsibility, although we will always either re-attempt delivery once the issue is fixed or refund you.
Always verify that a trade offer comes from one of the bot accounts listed on your order page before accepting it. We will never ask you to send us items, log in to a third-party site, or accept a trade from an account we have not identified to you in writing. Accept the offer promptly — trade offers expire, and Steam periodically restricts trading during maintenance or platform incidents.
Risk and ownership of the item pass to you when the trade offer is accepted into your Steam inventory. Steam outages, Valve-imposed trade restrictions and item trade cooldowns are outside our control; where delivery is delayed by such an event we will keep you informed and, if delivery becomes impossible, refund you in full under our Refund Policy.
6. Refunds and failed deliveries
Because we supply digital content that is delivered immediately, you agree at checkout that delivery begins right away and you acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel once delivery has started, as permitted under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Before delivery, you can cancel any order for a full refund. Where we cannot deliver an item — because it is no longer in our inventory, because Steam trading is unavailable, or because delivery has failed for reasons on our side — we refund the full amount to the original payment method automatically.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. If an item we deliver does not match its description on the Site — a materially different float, wear, pattern, StatTrak™ status or missing stickers — you are entitled to a remedy, and we will replace the item or refund you.
Full details, timeframes and the claims procedure are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Prohibited conduct
You must not use the Site or your account to break the law, to circumvent sanctions, to launder money or to convert the proceeds of crime into digital items. You must not pay using a card, account or funds that you are not authorised to use, and you must not use false identity or billing information.
You must not use stolen, hijacked, borrowed or purchased Steam accounts, use the Site through a VPN or proxy to disguise your true location, resell items obtained from us in breach of the Steam Subscriber Agreement, or use our platform as a mechanism for gambling, betting or informal money transfer between third parties.
You must not scrape, crawl, reverse-engineer, overload or interfere with the Site or our bots, use automated systems to place orders, attempt to exploit pricing errors, manipulate promotions or giveaways, or impersonate CS Skin Forge staff. You must not submit abusive, threatening or fraudulent communications to our support team.
If we reasonably believe you have breached this section, we may suspend or terminate your account, cancel pending orders, withhold delivery, refuse to trade with you in future, and — where we are legally required to do so — report the matter to law enforcement or to the relevant financial crime authorities. Where an account is closed for fraud, we may retain the disputed funds pending investigation and will refund any balance we are lawfully able to return.
8. Intellectual property and Valve
The CS Skin Forge name, logo, site design, written content, photography and database of listings are owned by LOOT FORGE LTD or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them commercially without our written permission.
Counter-Strike 2, CS2, Steam and all related game content, item names, artwork and trade marks are the property of Valve Corporation. LOOT FORGE LTD is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or in any way officially connected to Valve Corporation. Item names and images are used descriptively to identify the items we sell.
Your use of Steam is governed by the Steam Subscriber Agreement between you and Valve. Nothing in these terms overrides that agreement, and we cannot grant you rights in Valve's platform or content. Valve may change its trading rules, restrict items or suspend accounts at its own discretion, and we have no control over those decisions.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded — including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for the item or items to which the claim relates. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of expected item value, loss of trading opportunity, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss.
We are not liable for losses caused by matters outside our reasonable control, including Steam or Valve outages, trade restrictions, item cooldowns, changes to Valve's rules or economy, the suspension or ban of your Steam account, fluctuations in item market value after delivery, or your failure to secure your own account credentials.
The Site is provided on an "as is" basis. Market data, reference prices and discount percentages are indicative and do not constitute investment advice or any guarantee of future value. Skins are cosmetic items, not financial instruments, and their value can fall as well as rise.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time — for example to reflect changes in the law, in our payment arrangements, or in how the shop works. The current version is always published on this page with the date it was last updated.
Changes take effect when published and apply to orders placed after that date. They do not retrospectively change the terms of an order we have already accepted. Where a change is material, we will give registered users reasonable notice by email or by notice on the Site before it takes effect.
If you do not accept an updated version, you should stop using the Site and may close your account. Continuing to place orders after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or in the EEA, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
If something goes wrong, contact us first at info@csskinforge.com. We acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and aim to resolve them within 14 days. Please include your order number and, where relevant, the Steam trade offer ID.
If you are unhappy with a payment we have taken, contacting us is almost always faster than raising a dispute with your bank, and lets us fix the problem directly. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may pursue any other remedy available to you in law.
